What does Dynamis Group do?
One Australian firm with three engineering disciplines: web and application builds (Digital), AI systems counsel for owners and boards (Advisory), and custom computer-vision and neural-network model development (Labs). Every engagement is led by one client-facing solution architect — your single point of contact across whichever divisions the work touches.
What is the difference between Digital, Advisory and Labs?
Digital builds and runs software (sites, applications, AI integrations, retainers). Advisory writes the decisions (where to deploy AI, where to hold the line, the architecture and governance behind it). Labs builds custom models when off-the-shelf vision and language APIs run out. The three coordinate internally so a client doesn't bounce between vendors.
How do you charge?
Fixed-fee for scoped builds and advisory engagements; monthly retainer for Maintain (Digital) and Fractional (Advisory); per-project plus optional managed service for Labs. Source code, configuration and credentials transfer to the client on completion. No vendor lock-in, no per-seat licensing tax, no offshore subcontracting.
Where is Dynamis Group based?
Melbourne, Victoria. Office at 470 St Kilda Road. Delivery is virtual-first across Australia — Melbourne, Geelong, Surf Coast, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide. On-site engagement can be arranged for larger programmes; it is not the default expectation.
Who runs Dynamis Group?
Luke Collins, Managing Director and Principal. Computer-vision researcher (PhD candidate at Deakin University, spatio-temporal deep learning for deepfake detection), web engineer, and applied-AI practitioner. Senior-only delivery means the person who scopes the work does the work — no sales-engineer-to-junior-developer hand-off.
